✏️ Edit Your Merchandise Plan with Tooli

What's new

Tooli can now edit your Merchandise Plan. Until now it could only read it. Ask for a change in plain language, review every number it would move, and save only when you say so. Edits run through the same rulesets as the grid. The same tools are available to Claude, Cursor and any other AI assistant connected to the Toolio MCP server.

A planner asks Tooli for a 2028 plan at +5% over 2027, reviews a by-division preview where gross sales and units rise 5% and AUR holds, then says "Apply" and the edit is saved

What you can do

Ask for a plan change in a sentence:
For example, "Build a 2028 plan at +5% over 2027 in a new scenario and keep AUR and IMU flat."
Preview before anything is saved:
See every cell the edit would change, by division and by month, with before and after values. A preview never writes to your plan.
Pick the ruleset:
Run the edit under any of your Merchandise Plan rulesets and see which metrics each one lets you edit. Try a second ruleset if the first doesn't hold your rates the way you want.
Save with one word:
Say "apply" and the same edit is saved. If any part of the edit is refused, nothing is saved.
Work in a scenario:
Build next year's plan in a private scenario and leave Master untouched until you're ready.
Use the assistant you prefer:
Ask Tooli inside Toolio, or connect Claude or Cursor to the Toolio MCP server and ask there.

Why it helps

Turn a top-down target into a full plan without spreading it by hand across every division and week.
You see whether AUR, IMU and return rates hold while you can still change the edit.
Saves go through your rulesets, so a plan built in chat follows the same rules as one built in the grid.
