👀 Preview Tooli's Edits in Your Merchandise Plan Grid

What's new

When you ask Tooli to change your Merchandise Plan, it now stages the edit in the grid you have open. Every cell it changes is highlighted, and nothing is saved until you press Save.

A planner asks Tooli in the sidebar to grow 2027 gross sales by department, raise AIR 3% and keep 12 weeks of supply. The grid next to it shows the new values highlighted as unsaved changes, with Save and Cancel at the top

What you can do

See the change where you plan:
Ask Tooli in the sidebar, and the new numbers appear in your grid as unsaved cells. Tooli moves you to the first one.
Check it at every level:
Expand departments, scroll through months, and look at sales, AIR, margin and weeks of supply before anything is written.
Save or cancel from the grid:
Save applies the whole edit. Cancel drops it. You can also ask Tooli to cancel and try again a different way.
Keep your ruleset:
Tooli stages the edit under the ruleset selected in your grid, so held and calculated metrics behave the same as when you type in a cell.
Ask why a cell won't change:
If a cell is read-only, for example an actualized month, Tooli tells you why.
Switch the layout:
Ask Tooli to regroup or filter, and it opens a private copy of your view. The original view stays as it was.

A change with several parts, such as growth by department plus a price increase plus a weeks of supply target, lands in one preview, so you see how the parts interact before you save.
